Nancy Huxtable Mohr
Nancy Huxtable Mohr (she/her) lives in Northern California. She was raised 9th generation on a dairy farm in Upstate New York, and she still owns a home on that land. She graduated from Cornell University, has a California Teacher’s Credential and has worked as a teacher, social worker and arts administrator. She taught poetry with California Poets in the Schools and the Redwood City Women’s Jail. She has a lifelong commitment to arts organizations serving underprivileged youths as both an arts administrator and a volunteer. She took Independent Poetry Study with Eavan Boland at Stanford University 2015, is a member of the Community of Writers, and a 2024 Bread Loaf Participant. She was shortlisted for the UK Environmental Poetry Prize 2022.
